Weight loss is hard enough at any time of the year, but by making it a New Year’s resolution you’re motivating yourself but also potentially setting yourself up for failure. The following are a few ways that you can maintain your resolve in order to fulfill your resolutions.

Be Reasonable

You will only set yourself up for failure if you choose a resolution that is impractical or too difficult. If weight loss is your resolution, then choose to only lose a small amount at first. Start out small; commit to losing 5 or 10 pounds and set yourself up for success.
