She has accepted a medical assistant's position with us, and will be working 3 days a week while she finishes her last semester at Bryant & Stratton. Phyllis is a real benefit to our practice and we really appreciate her vibrant personality and enthusiasm! Sara is a Physician Assistant student from Lemoyne College and is doing a Bariatric rotation. Sara started in August and has been doing a great job during her rotation. We wish all the best to Katherine, she did a great job for us over the summer. We are very excited to have Samantha Henrie taking over her duties at the front desk in Manlius. In our Auburn office we would also like to officially welcome Mary Lou Bird. Mary Lou has already been on the job for a couple of weeks and she is a very welcomed addition to our Auburn office. Published August 14 by - Bryan 1st Annual Medical Weight Loss of NY, PLLC Clothes Drive-Follow UpWe would like to thank everyone who participated in our 1st Annual Clothes Drive. We originally thought that our main goal was to raise money for Childhood Obesity. While this cause remains very important to us, we quickly realized that as people brought in their old clothes they were also moving on from the past. Giving away clothes that represented a previous time and in many cases a much different weight was very dramatic to many people. To let go of the clothes meant that they were moving on and not going back. I found a great quote that I thought fit: 'The rewards in life go to those who are willing to give up the past.'(Unknown Source). Published August 14 by - Bryan 1st Annual Medical Weight Loss of NY, PLLC Clothing Drive-UPDATE!The clothing drive date has officially been set for Saturday, August 9th, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The drive will take place at our office, weather permitting we will hold it outside. The last date to drop off clothes has been extended to July 31st. We have already received a lot of great donations from our patients and all of the money that is raised will be used to start a Childhood Obesity Foundation.
